Dining Hosts help make lunchtime a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our older adults. Volunteers arrive before the lunch hour to set the tables, assist members with carrying their meals as needed, and help with cleanup afterward. Opportunities are available at the Betty Ehart Senior Activity Center in Los Alamos.
All volunteers receive training—no prior experience is necessary. Stay-at-home parents or grandparents are welcome to bring children along. As a thank-you, Dining Hosts enjoy a complimentary lunch during their volunteer shift.
