Dining Hosts at the White Rock Senior Center kitchen play a vital role in creating a clean, welcoming, and well-organized dining experience for our senior guests. Volunteers assist with pre-lunch setup, including wiping tables and preparing beverage, coffee, and salad bar stations. During lunch, they greet and assist guests, monitor supplies, and help ensure meal service runs smoothly. After lunch, Dining Hosts help clear trays, dispose of waste, and clean tables, chairs, and serving areas. Some may also assist with dishwashing or other light kitchen tasks. All cleaning supplies and tools are provided. No experience is necessary—training will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to bring a friendly, respectful attitude and a willingness to support others.
