Do you like capturing photos and videos?
We are seeking one or more enthusiastic volunteer videographers to capture images and video clips in a variety of settings. Amateurs are A-OK. If you have ever shot a video or tik-tok clip on your phone, you probably would be a great fit. In this role, you will use your creativity to capture images and clips of places and spaces for community life in the Los Alamos area and organize an online archive in the cloud. We will make the assignments and introductions you need.
Responsibilities:
- Capture high-quality photos and videos of places, spaces, and events that help tell the story of our community.
- Edit photos and videos to create engaging content.
- Accept assignments when you are available to capture specified imagery.
- Follow our photography and videography style guide.
- Organize an archive of photos and video clips to be sure we can find the imagery we need.
- Meet deadlines you have agreed to and be flexible to accommodate various schedules and locations.
Qualifications:
- Ownership of and experience with a camera -- it can be as simple as a smartphone camera
- A creative eye and good sense of composition.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Reliability, timeliness, and a commitment to deadlines.
- Enthusiasm for our mission and a passion for volunteerism.
