Opportunities From: Volunteer Los Alamos

Would you like to help out at the library and make new friends?  If you're between 8 and 12 years old (through sixth grade), then this is the opportunity for you!  Weekly, you (and up to three others) will meet at the White Rock Branch Library with a student worker who will lead you through fun and helpful tasks like shelf-reading, making arts and crafts, shredding, cleaning, recycling, and more.  Sign up here to start!

Are you someone who enjoys helping others understand and use technology?  If so, volunteer to provide assistance to library patrons with their personal electronic devices.  Volunteers work one-on-one (by appointment) to support the following:

Assist library staff and other volunteers with board game play, making popcorn--includes setup and cleanup.  Program runs 1-4:30; volunteers are requested to arrive 30 minutes early and stay 30 minutes afterward and play games with attendees.   Sign up here to start!
