Opportunities From: Volunteer Los Alamos

Volunteer: May 2026 - PEEC & Bee City Volunteer Day / Pollinator Garden / Plant Watering Schedule

Seeking volunteers to assist with the Bee City Los Alamos Pollinator Demonstration Garden, located on Bathtub Row, next to the Los Alamos Senior Center and behind the County Extension Office.  

Ongoing watering and some weeding are necessary to keep the garden beautiful through the spring and summer. Watering takes about an hour to complete.  

Sign up for one or more ongoing shifts. Please note: Times are flexible on the day you water the garden. Britton, Coordinator, will reach out to schedule a time to meet at the garden, and you can water when it works best for you.

Join Los Alamos County Open Space and Trails as we work to maintain Fireline Trail. Volunteers will have an opportunity to choose from a variety of projects ranging in difficulty. Projects will include hauling fill dirt, building water diversions and rock walls to help prevent erosion. Volunteers will also help trim pack trail side vegetation.
