We will be holding the 51st Los Alamos Triathlon, the 7th Jr. Triathlon, and the 29th Kids Triathlon on July 19th, 2025, starting at 7am. And we are in need of volunteers to help make this a successful event!
Volunteers can be age 15 and up.

| Inclement Weather Plan: Los Alamos County staff are responsible for monitoring the weather conditions and disseminating information. In the event of inclement weather leading up to the event, the CSD Division responsible for the event will distribute information to the public via press release, website updates, and social media. In the event of inclement weather during an event, the CSD Division responsible for the event will make an announcement over a PA System (if available), social media, and via word of mouth to stakeholders and attendees. In the event of a lightning strike within 10 miles, the event will be delayed for 30 minutes from the last lightning strike. The storm should pass and the lightning moving away from the event site. Each individual lightning strike within the 10-mile radius restarts the delay. Patrons at the event will be notified of the lightning delay and directed to a location away from the event site. If no indoor venue is large enough or safe enough, then patrons shall be directed to seek shelter in their vehicles. | |
