Who We Are
The Los Alamos Sustainability Alliance (formerly the Zero Waste Team) is a community-driven coalition of residents, businesses, nonprofits, and County partners working together to make Los Alamos a model of environmental sustainability and a more beautiful place to live.
What We Do
Since 2018, we’ve led local efforts in zero waste, recycling, water and energy conservation, climate change action, and more. Through outreach, education, and hands-on projects—like community cleanups, pollinator gardens, wildlife protection, and food waste reduction—we inspire and empower meaningful environmental action in Los Alamos.
